One-on-one leadership development through
EXECUTIVE leadership COACHING
leadership Coaching Results
Specific goals for leadership coaching will be defined by the leader, with regular attention and actions focused on meeting those goals. Some of the amazing outcomes typically achieved through leadership coaching are as follows:
Deepened personal foundation through a stronger relationship with and understanding of oneself
Clarity on high-leverage structures for effectiveness, and conversely, clarity on what gets in the leader’s way (and how to remove it)
Increased ability to communicate clearly, empathetically and efficiently
Increased understanding of trust: how to diagnose it, increase it, and repair it
Tools and skills for leadership effectiveness (time management, problem solving, communication, decision-making, etc.)
the leadership Coaching Process
Essential coaching skills include deep listening, powerful questioning, acknowledging, and synthesizing what is being said. Leadership coaching is a dynamic, emergent process centered on what the leader brings to the appointment. A few of the roles the coach holds are: thought partner, devil’s advocate, mirror, accountability partner, and teacher. This results in increased clarity and new learning.
During a typical leadership coaching session, the coach and the leader work together in a co-creative conversation to forward the leader’s goals. The leader sends in a “Focus Report” the day prior to the appointment that gives them the opportunity to articulate successes and challenges since the last appointment, as well as their intended outcome for the coaching.
Throughout and at the end of each session, the leader commits to “action steps” that will move them forward toward their goals and allow for contemplation and integration of new insights. The session concludes with the leader articulating (out loud!) what reflections they have from the time in order to solidify their learning.

“Liz's insight and focus made our coaching program very effective for me. Her coaching sessions are challenging and stimulating, and the thought processes I learned from her for planning my career and life goals have continued to be useful long after the program finished. I highly recommend her.”

“I have previously been a part of team coaching and 1:1 coaching but did not have the leaderhsip coaching stick the way it did with Liz Myers. Liz and I worked 1:1 through a coaching plan based on 360 feedback and my Enneagram style. I appreciate her approach and the work I did with her still resonates with me in my day to day with my team, as an individual contributor, as well as the decisions I make outside of work that impact my bandwidth. I highly recommend considering Liz for leadership coaching even if you’ve previously gone through similar coaching or leadership programs.”
